My back was hurting pretty much the entire flight, i wouldn’t do it again. I know what works for me, and this definitely wasn’t it.

"Felt left in the dark during the delay"
My flight ended up getting delayed, but I don’t remember getting any real updates about what was going on. Maybe I missed an announcement or didn’t check the right place, but it felt like we were just waiting without much information. It would’ve been nice to have clearer communication...

"App let me down when I needed it most"
I had a really frustrating experience with the EL AL app while trying to check in for my flight. It logged me out twice in the middle of the process, and then it froze when I got to the passport details screen. I kept having to start over, which was the last thing I wanted to deal with before traveling.
It got even more annoying at the airport when my boarding pass wouldn’t load, even though I had internet. I ended up having to stand in line just to get it printed. For an airline app, I really expected it to be more dependable.

"Bad"

Below quality customer service.  Arrogant manager Neil.  Claiming to be the only manager El Al has.  Ha.  What a joke!
They ripped me off for $400 per person to cancel my round trip flight from jfk to ben gurion.  Even though there's a war going on.

"Security felt like way too much"
I had a rough experience with EL AL and the airport security part, honestly. I know security matters and obviously nobody wants unsafe flights, but the questioning felt like it went on forever and some of it just seemed unnecessary. Maybe that means they’re doing their job well, but it also kind of felt rude, so I don’t know.
My bag got checked more than once and nobody really explained why, which made the whole thing more frustrating. The staff acted like I was being annoying just for asking basic questions. The flight itself was actually fine, but because the security process was so stressful, it makes me feel like I probably wouldn’t book with them again.

Everything seemed fine while I was going through the process, and I was thinking, okay, this is straightforward. Then I got to the end and suddenly there were extra fees added on. I kind of just sat there like, wait, where did those come from? It would’ve been nice to know about them upfront instead of finding out right before paying

"Stressful cancellation process and refund worries"
I tried to cancel my booking on elal, it was way more frustrating than it should’ve been. The information on the site wasn’t clear, so I didn’t feel confident that I was doing the right thing or that my refund would be handled properly. Support took a long time to get back to me, and even after that I still had to keep following up about the refund. When money and travel plans are involved, I really want things to feel reliable and transparent, and this process just didn’t.

"Embarrassed I Didn’t Check the Fees First"
I changed my ticket and felt embarrassed afterward because I didn’t realize how much they were going to charge me. The fee ended up being way higher than I expected, and I wish it had been made clearer before I confirmed anything.

"Not really seeing the value"
I fly often, so I expected the points to actually add up to something useful, but they barely seem to help. Every time I check for an upgrade, there’s nothing available, and when I reach out to support, the replies feel like the same copy-paste answers. It makes me wonder how much quality there really is behind the whole rewards program.

"Honestly, not worth it..."
I really wanted to like this place, but it was disappointing... the food tasted stale, the drinks were warm, and overall it just didn’t feel worth it at all.

"Paid More and Expected Better"
I felt like I paid more for this than I have for similar products, but somehow got less out of it. Compared to other options I’ve tried, this just didn’t feel worth the money. Disappointing overall.

"Wheelchair assistance was a mess"
I requested wheelchair help weeks before my flight, but when I got to the airport it was like nobody had any idea, lol. The staff kept sending me from one desk to another, and it ended up being really stressful. I felt ignored the whole time. I don’t think I’d book with them again if I needed assistance.

"Refund took way too long with no real answers"
I had to cancel my flight, and at the time I was told the refund would be processed soon, so I figured it might take a little while but nothing too crazy. Then weeks went by and there was still no refund showing up, no clear update, and no explanation that made me feel like anyone was actually handling it. I contacted support more than once, and each time I basically got the same generic copy-paste type response, like they were just repeating the policy instead of checking what was happening with my specific refund. I totally understand that refunds can take time, especially with airlines, banks, processing delays, all of that, but the frustrating part was not knowing anything and feeling like nobody was taking ownership. It just became way more stressful than it needed to be. Unless EL AL improves this process and communicates better, I don’t see myself booking with them again

"Couldn’t get through to support"
I tried calling El Al support and waited around forever, but nobody picked up. After a while, the call just dropped. It was really frustrating, especially when I needed help with my flight.

"Staff seemed annoyed and unhelpful"
I really wasn’t impressed with the staff at all. From the start, it felt like they were annoyed that I even had questions. Simple stuff barely got answered, and instead of helping, they just kept passing me off to someone else. For such a big airline, the service felt unprofessional. Like, how is asking a basic question this much of a problem? Make it make sense.

"Missing bag and felt totally brushed off"
My suitcase never showed up, and when I went to the El Al baggage desk, it felt like they just wanted me to go away and wait. I kept trying to get an update, but it took days before anyone gave me anything useful, and most of the time I didn’t feel like I was being properly listened to. It was really stressful, especially being left without my things and no clear answers. Not a good experience at all.
